Moviegoers feasted on the latest Twilight and James Bond films during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

For the second consecutive weekend, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 was the box office champ, earning an estimated 43.1 million dollars. It raked in 64 million from Wednesday, November 21st, through Sunday, November 25th.

The Bond flick Skyfall ranked second, with 36 million raised over the weekend and 51 million over the same five-day period.

Among the new films, the animated Rise of the Guardians debuted in fourth place, collecting 24 million from Friday, November 23rd, through Sunday.

Life of Pi was close behind in the fifth spot, with 22 million.

The Red Dawn remake opened in seventh place, earning 14.6 million over the three-day weekend.

Overall, the box office raked in about 290 million dollars from Wednesday through Sunday, a new Thanksgiving-week record.
