The 2012 Summer Olympics are kicking off this weekend in London. From battle-tested veterans to up-and-comers looking to earn their laurels, America once again has quite a few contenders competing. Swimmer Ryan Lochte, one of the other swimmers on the U.S. team, will compete in 5 events, including the 200m freestyle, 200m backstroke, 200m butterfly, 400m individual medley and the 4x200m freestyle relay.

Reed Kessler will head to London with the U.S. Equestrian Team, where she will compete in Show Jumping, as opposed to Eventing or, Stephen Colbert's new favorite Olympic sport- Dressage.
