1965 - The Turtles released their remake of Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe.”

1965 - Mike Smith of The Dave Clark Five broke a couple of ribs after being pulled off the stage by a fan in Chicago.

1974 - Peter Wolf of The J. Geils Band married Faye Dunaway, though they divorced in 1979.

1987 - A lawsuit against Ozzy Osbourne was thrown out by a Los Angeles judge. The case came from the parents of a teenager who had committed suicide shortly after listening to Ozzy's song, "Suicide Solution."

1991 - Guns 'N' Roses frontman Axl Rose was charged with assault and property damage in connection with a riot that occurred at a concert in St. Louis, Missouri.

1999 – Fifty-five people were arrested at a Dave Matthews Band show after fighting erupted in the parking lot of the Meadows Music Theater in Hartford, Connecticut.

2000 – The Jimi Hendrix estate won a case to evict the owner of the internet address www.jimihendrix.com.
