1966 - The Beatles' 1966 album Revolver hit stores in the U.K.
1975 - Stevie Wonder inked a seven year, $13 million contract. The agreement was the largest deal in the recording industry at the time.
1976 – The Beach Boys: It's O.K., a 15th anniversary special on the group, aired on NBC.
1992 – Toto’s Jeff Porcaro died at age 38 of cardiac arrest. The drummer was spraying insecticide in his yard when he experienced an allergic reaction that triggered the heart attack.
